Bill Kelliher is the respected guitarist for award-winning American metal band Mastodon, and his ESP LTD Signature Series BK-600 is, in a word, spectacular. Based on the single-cutaway ESP Eclipse shape, the latest BK-600 offers traditional full body thickness with no waist cut, and is designed to provide the wide range of tones needed for Mastodon��s music while being sturdy and reliable enough for the most punishing rhythms and brutal riffs throughout long tours. Another update on the BK-600 is the set of Bill��s signature Mojotone Hellbender humbucker pickups. Designed for the duality of brutality and beauty, these nickel-covered pickups offer everything from raw and menacing tones to complex, articulate and open cleans. Both the bridge and neck pickups may be split with push-pull controls on the volume and tone knobs. The BK-600 offers set-thru construction at 24.75�� scale for unencumbered access to the highest frets, with a mahogany body, a bound three-piece mahogany neck and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets and pearloid ESP flag inlays. Other professional features on the LTD BK-600 include LTD locking tuners and a TonePros locking bridge and tailpiece. An ESP deluxe hardshell case is included.
