          The Player Stratocaster's roasted maple neck and pau ferro fingerboard make it effortless to rip off solos and transition smoothly during chord changes. Roasted maple is more dimensionally stable than standard maple, with an open-pore finish that feels silky to the touch. Its modern C-shaped profile provides comfort for all playing styles. With 22 frets, two more than a traditional Stratocaster, the Player Strat gives you access to a wider range for expressive lead work and experimentation.?

          Custom Shop Fat '50s Pickups for Iconic Tone

          Three Custom Shop Fat '50s single-coil pickups provide the unmistakable chime, clarity and articulation of a vintage Stratocaster. Custom magnets and enamel-coated wire give these pickups a warm, full tone with enhanced low end and midrange. The bridge pickup's dedicated tone control lets you dial in the precise amount of treble bite, from bright and cutting to a smoother, darker sound.

          Two-Point Tremolo for Shimmering Pitch Effects

          A two-point tremolo bridge allows for expressive pitch-shifting effects, from subtle shimmers to dramatic dives. Its solid-steel block and powder-coated saddles provide maximum sustain and tuning stability under intense use. The tremolo arm has a vintage-style push-in design for quick changes between songs.

          Sleek Contours and Limited Finishes for Iconic Style

          The Player Stratocaster's sleek double-cutaway alder body provides comfort and balance. A gloss polyester finish highlights the woodgrain and comes in limited, vintage-inspired colors like Aged Candy, Apple Red and Fiesta Red.
