The ESP James Hetfield LTD Signature Snakebyte electric guitar features set-neck construction at 24.75�� scale, pairing a mahogany body with a thin ��U��-shaped 3-piece mahogany neck, and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 22 extra-jumbo frets. Its sound is driven by a set of James�� own EMG JH SET active pickups, along with a TonePros locking Tune-O-Matic bridge and tailpiece. The finish is based on a camouflage pattern created by high-performance hunting gear manufacturer KUIU, a design chosen by Hetfield.
