          Description

The Jackson X Series Soloist SL3X DX crackle finish electric guitar provides an ideal blend of classic style and cutting-edge tone for today's most discerning shredders. Featuring a sleek basswood body, compound-radius laurel fretboard and Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge, the SL3X DX crackle is engineered for fluid playability and dive-bombing acrobatics. The graphite-reinforced maple neck offers rock-solid stability and sustain.

          High-Output Pickups Deliver Aggressive Tone

The SL3X DX crackle comes loaded with a trio of Jackson high-output pickupsa humbucker in the bridge position and mini-rail humbuckers in the middle and neck positionsfor thick, harmonically rich tone with excellent note definition. A five-way blade switch activates different pickup combinations to suit any playing style, from rhythm chugging to searing leads.

Floyd Rose Tremolo Enables Extreme Techniques

The Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge provides ultra-stable tuning and fluid action for executing extreme techniques like dive bombs, squeals and warbles with ease. Once locked in, the bridge system keeps the SL3X DX crackle in tune through heavy use of the tremolo arm.

          Fast Neck and Compound Fretboard

The SL3X DX crackle's fast neck has a 25.5" scale length and jumbo frets. Its 12"-16" compound-radius laurel fretboard facilitates effortless chording, rhythm playing and shredding acrobatics higher up on the neck. The fretboard's gradually flattening radius, from nut to bridge, provides an ideal surface for chords and single-note runs.

          Premium Appointments and Styling

Classic Jackson appointments like a pointed six-in-line headstock, sharkfin fretboard inlays, dome-style control knobs and a durable gloss finish round out the X Series Soloist SL3X DX crackle. The SL3X DX crackle's Frost Byte crackle finish highlights the guitar's contours with a metallic sheen that catches the light.
